Additional DEWALT D5104 Heavy Duty Ballistic Nylon Tool Pouch Information
|
Made by contractors for contractors, the D5104 from DEWALT is a rough-and-tough pouch that will see you through a variety of jobs without sacrificing durability and performance. Exceptionally roomy and comfortable enough to wear indoors or out, this ballistic nylon pouch holds all your tools while staying in-place, and features a double-stitched belt loop tunnel for superior durability. It also resists both moisture and abrasion, but never feels bulky or too heavy. For added protection against wear and tear, the D5104 boasts solid-steel rivets that can bear up to 200 pounds of force, so you'll never have to worry about them ripping or falling off. Generously sized, heat-formed pockets resist closing and ensure that your tools are accessible when you need them, and protected when you don't. The D5104 comes with a one-year limited warranty and 30-day no-risk trial agreement.

The title says it all. You will not regret it if you purchase this product, but dont try to shoot yourself :)
if they were an inch deeper i think it would solve this problem. i have had this pouch for over 2 years and it has held up great and after a few weeks it was broken in really nice. if you think about it for ~$30 i got a pouch that lasted 1.5 year with out any problem. my problem with it is that after this much time the pockets have softened and my tools fall out whenever i trip or just lean over pretty far. i think part of the problem is that the pockets are just alittle to shallow. i have switched over to a dewalt technicians pouch and a CLC nail bag b/c the pockets are alittle deaper. however the CLC nylon bag(~$20) doesn't seem to be built as tough - when it wears out i will probably go back to this bag.
As a contractor, I depend on my tools and the things that carry them for a living, day in and day out. Plus it comes in a professional-looking and attractive black and yellow color, much better than the random reds greens and browns you find in most hardware stores. This Dewalt ballistic nylon pouch cost about double what I would've paid for some generic pouches at Home Depot and Lowes but has made my job a whole heck of a lot easier. For one thing, it's top quality ballistic nylon is definitely thicker and better constructed, and its roomy size, double front nail pockets, and well-thought out tool slots and hammer loops make both organizing and accessing my tools a breeze. Nylon is also much better than leather in that it will not sweat and stain your pants; I've having to throw away a fairly expensive Craftsman leather pouch because it always turned my pants brown. I'm not nearly as sold on their power tools, but their accessories (I also got the drill holster and driver guide) have been more than worth their premium prices.
Thanks DeWalt, for making my job easier. With the simplicity and durability of your entire line of hand held tools of the trade, I can now match them with your new tool pouches. A great idea from a great company.
